Patrice Evra, Jonny Evans, Chris Smalling and Javier Hernandez explain how Official Logistics Partner, DHL plays a key role behind-the-scenes when it comes to delivering success for Manchester United.

“It feels really good. I’ve obviously been waiting a long time for an opportunity this season and thankfully it’s come and I’d like to think I’ve made the most of it. Obviously there were a few nerves but that’s healthy, to have a few nerves before you come out. I just played my own game really and it was a good result tonight.”

25 UNDER 25 | ENGLAND, MANCHESTER UNITED | CHRIS SMALLING. Defender. Born 22 November 1989.
“He plays with a maturity I’m not entitled to expect from a player so young.” - Roy Hodgson, ex-Fulham (Manager) & current West Brom (Manager).
Chris Smalling went from non-league club Maidstone United to Fulham FC to one of the biggest clubs in the world in the space of two years, making just twenty five first-team appearances for his two former clubs — but his talent was obvious for all who were watching to see. Sir Alex Ferguson said of him, at the time of his signing: “Chris is an extremely talented young defender, who we have been monitoring for some months. He is very quick and reads the game well. He will be a great asset to the club, playing alongside some of the best defenders around. We are delighted to have secured his signature.” At only twenty one, he is the future of England and Manchester United’s defensive line.

“I’ve watched Giggsy go on his mazy runs throughout his career and to see him do it first-hand now has made me really stand up and think ‘Wow!’. He’s achieved so much in his career and is still hungry for more. It’s incredible.”

“In it goes and it’s right on the money… Chris Smalling comes in with a header and Manchester United score early! This might be the biggest test so far, but there are certainly no exam nerves!”
